If you are looking for a long lasting film that has hydrophobic qualities (easy to clean, very stain resistant, easier to work with) we recommend ArmorWrap Ultra Lifetime. The Scotchard Pro film is one of our favorites over the last decade and you can't go wrong with this film.

ArmowWrap Premium & Ultra are both self healing films with an extremely glossy coat. The ArmorWrap Premium film has a 5 year warranty while the ArmorWrap Ultra has a lifetime warranty against defects of the film. Also, ArmorWrap Ultra is hydrophobic so it has a very slick surface which greatly reduces any stains and is easier to clean. Scotchgard Pro is made by 3M and the recent development of the PRO film has made the installation process easier than ever before. 3M Scotchgard Pro has self healing capabilities and is scratch and stain resistant. You can't go wrong with any of these 3 films. Keep in mind, our top film has a Lifetime warranty and is hydrophobic (ArmorWrap Ultra Lifetime)

Note: Each film is the same thickness (8 mil) and has the same application process and clear in appearance! When applied to the vehicle most people won't notice a difference in the appearance of each one.

Don't be fooled by the thinner/cheap vinyl film being passed off as paint protection film which can actually harm your paint! Buy name brand only.

For each kit we sell you can choose to purchase the Installation Insurance for 10% extra. Once you successfully checkout and pay for the item you have 90 days to redeem the insurance and receive a 50% discount on that same part. To redeem the insurance and get the 50% off you come back to our website and register for an account, locate the same part you previously purchased and add it to your cart. You will see the 50% discount in your shopping cart.

The only rules that apply are

• Must purchase the same kit as before
• Must be within 90 days of original purchase
• Must register an account with us so we know who you are (only when redeeming the insurance)

Q.  What does “wrapped” mean?

When the description of the part says “wrapped” it means the film is slightly larger and will wrap around the edge of the hood or bumper. It extends about 1/2” on each end and often has relief cuts making the wrap process easier. The wrapped option is a slighter cleaner looking installation but also more difficult.

Q.  Why do some kits require stretching during installation?

The more curved the area the more wrinkles or folds you will have and the film will be difficult to lay flat. But when stretching and pulling tight the wrinkles/folds are forced down making the installation easier in the end. The film can stretch 15% +  it’s own length. So if a piece is 80 inches wide then it is possible to stretch it 12 inches although that is never needed. Usually, extreme cases would require 1-2 inches of stretching and in many cases none at all.

Q.  Is a DVD included with my installation kit?

Not any longer. We got a lot of requests for online videos over a DVD for several reasons. People no longer have a DVD player, they want to watch the video near the car during the installation, it can be viewed on a tablet or phone, etc. So we now send a link to our high definition online videos.

Q.  If I make a mistake on a single piece out of a kit can I buy just that single piece?

Yes. We can separate the pieces and there is no need to buy a whole kit again just to replace a small piece.
